Heat Pipe

 

Heat Pipe/Tube is a super thermal conductor, which conducts thermal energy without any loss in temperature (no resistance to flow of heat) and it doesn't require any pump for the conveying of heat from one place to another. Numerous uses for the heat pipe and various configuration in heat pipes-

 

1. Tublar Heat Pipe : Vertical position over and above 10 degree tilt.

    Evaporator section (Heat Collector)/ Condensor section(Heat dessipation)- Bare tube, jacketted, tinned types, coiled Radiator, shell+tube.

2.  Horizontal Position (Capillary action): Wicked (metal mesh), inorganic salt core, metal porous core.

3. Bubble Pump Type

4. Radiator type for remote heat pipes.

 

USES:

Constant temperature chamber, reactor vessel, waste heat recovery, solar heat conveying in ETC, mould even heat distribution.
